Built on Stripe's own policy.
One vertical, on purpose: B2B card processing for distributors of Research-Use-Only peptides, to qualified counterparties only.

ComplyRUO gates checkout to credentialed research buyers, captures the intended-use attestation, and keeps the tamper-proof record your processor expects.

Stripe permits research-use peptides when preventive measures keep them out of non-research hands. ComplyRUO is those measures, running on your own Stripe account.
One vertical, on purpose: B2B card processing for distributors of Research-Use-Only peptides, to qualified counterparties only.
Verify the buyer, capture the intent, seal the record, settled to your own Stripe account, with the lightest PCI scope.
A native card form and one-tap Apple Pay and Google Pay, charged on your connected Stripe account. Funds settle to you, with the lightest PCI scope.
Each verified buyer is sealed into a tamper-evident attestation record you can export the moment a processor asks.
The full flow, end to end. Every buyer clears the same gate, signs the same attestation, and pays on your own checkout, branded to your store.
Before the store even loads, every visitor confirms they are a qualified researcher buying for in vitro or laboratory use.
Each buyer signs in with the email or phone on their research account. Passwordless, with no credentials for your store to manage.
A short code, sent by email or text, confirms the buyer controls the account before anything is signed.
A passwordless account, the counterparty type, and the locked intended-use statement, signed before anyone reaches checkout.
Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay on your branded checkout, settled to your Stripe account, with card data never touching your server.
From the researcher gate to a signed, sealed account. Exactly what your buyer does, start to finish.
ComplyRUO scans your storefront every week for medical claims, missing RUO disclaimers, and anything that drifts past research-use-only, then scores it so you can fix issues before a processor ever sees them.
Every product and policy page is checked for medical or therapeutic claims, human-use language, and missing RUO / FDA disclaimers. No manual audits.
One score in your dashboard, with every flagged line, exactly where it lives, and how to fix it. Watch the trend so you catch drift early.
Your monitoring history exports as a clean report, so you can show a processor you actively police your own store, alongside your signed attestation ledger.
The buyer flow runs itself. Standing it up on your store takes three steps, on your own Stripe account, your own checkout.

Records filed and exportableHow ComplyRUO keeps research-use peptide sales compliant, approvable, and on the record.
Yes, under defined conditions. Stripe’s own policy permits research-use peptides “as long as there are preventive measures in place to ensure these are not accessible to those who would purchase research chemicals for nonresearch purposes.” ComplyRUO is those measures: it gates checkout to credentialed research buyers, captures a signed intended-use attestation, and keeps a tamper-proof record of every agreement, strictly B2B, no direct-to-consumer. Those controls don’t override Stripe’s underwriting, but they put the evidence Stripe looks for on the table from day one. Read Stripe’s policy →
Reducing that risk is the whole point. You connect your own Stripe account (Standard Connect), so you stay the merchant of record and funds settle directly to you. High-risk merchants usually get dropped because there’s no proof of who bought and why. ComplyRUO produces that proof on every order. No one can promise Stripe will never review an account, but you go in with documented preventive measures and an exportable audit trail instead of a checkbox.
Every buyer must affirm they are a qualified research counterparty: a licensed researcher, clinical laboratory, CRO, or credentialed institutional buyer, purchasing for in vitro / laboratory research only under the 21 CFR §201.128 intended-use standard. Before checkout, ComplyRUO shows the researcher and 21+ age gate, then a one-screen sign-up that records counterparty type, intended use, and a signed attestation. B2B only: no direct-to-consumer, no CBD, no supplements.
Every agreement is written to a tamper-evident ledger: the exact attestation wording and its version, the buyer’s counterparty type and intended use, the time, the IP, and a sealed signature. Each record is cryptographically sealed, so any later edit flags as “altered.” When a processor or auditor asks, you export the full ledger as a CSV in one click.
Card and wallet payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, run through an embedded Stripe Payment Element on your own checkout, so card data goes straight to Stripe and never touches your server (the lightest PCI scope, SAQ-A). Money settles to your connected Stripe account, and ComplyRUO never holds your funds. ComplyRUO itself is free to install and use, no monthly fee and no setup cost. You only pay a platform fee of 6.5% + $0.30 per transaction, on top of your standard Stripe processing fees.
ComplyRUO installs as a WordPress / WooCommerce plugin. Connect Stripe with one click (no API keys to copy), paste in your Terms and Privacy links, and follow the in-plugin Setup Guide that shows live status for each step. Most stores can be gating buyers and taking payments the same day, and the card option stays hidden at checkout until your Stripe account is cleared to charge.
ComplyRUO gates a peptide distributor’s checkout to credentialed research buyers, captures a signed intended-use attestation, and runs the payment on the merchant’s own Stripe account with a tamper-proof record of every agreement. That is precisely the set of preventive measures Stripe’s policy requires to allow research-use-only peptides, so merchants can get approved for card processing, and stay that way.
Request early access and we’ll help you stand up the gate, the records, and payments, on your own Stripe account.
